Front desk staff: Great! Welcome to California Wellness clinic. I’ll need you to fill out this paperwork about your health, and I’ll need to see your ID and insurance card if you have them.

You: I don’t have insurance and will be paying for my visit myself. Will I need to pay before or after the appointment? And how much will it cost?

Front desk staff: You would pay after your appointment today. I see that you are here today to talk to a provider about birth control. We can also see if you are eligible to sign up for FamilyPACT, a program which would cover the cost of your appointment. Fill out this form and we’ll be able to confirm whether or not you’re eligible for the program to financially cover for your appointment today.

You: Great! Thank you.
